Faculty of Forestry Canvas Workshop 2021

Time: Wednesday (July 21) 14:30 – 15:30

This is a one-hour workshop for anyone in the Faculty who is new to Canvas and wants to familiarize themselves more with what Canvas has to offer. We will introduce the different tools and templates within Canvas, as well as discuss the functions, purposes, and usages of those tools in Canvas. Faculty, staff, TAs, and Academic Assistants are all welcome. RSVP: click here.

SpeedGrader Comment Library

A new update in Canvas allows for the use of pre-written comments from within a comment library, to efficiently provide non-specific feedback for assignments within SpeedGrader. To learn more about how to create, edit and delete comments within the comment library, please click here.

Central Technical Updates

Access to Collaborate Ultra Recordings to be Turned Off

A reminder that UBC’s access to Collaborate Ultra and all stored recordings will officially end on July 31, 2021.

 

Should you need time in July to complete the transfer of the recordings, please contact the LT Hub to re-enable access to Collaborate Ultra on a course-by-course basis until July 30.

Winter 2021 Reading Lists for UBC Library Course Reserve

The UBC Library course reserve is now accepting Winter 2021 reading lists, so long as your courses appear in the registrars.

 

Your list of readings may also be sent directly to the syllabus service (syllabus.service@ubc.ca), who will input your request into Library Online Course Reserves (LOCR). To view the full message from the Woodward Library Course Reserve Unit, please click here.
