Student Experience of Instruction Open Forum

One-Button Recording Unit (FSC 3003)

A tip-sheet for the One-Button studio in FSC 3003 is available here.

AV System and General Learning Spaces

The TLS Team has completed tip-sheets for using the AV systems for FSC 1221 and 1005, and for teaching in the general learning spaces in the Forest Sciences Centre and CAWP. A tip-sheet for using the mobile AV system for FSC 1001 and 1003 was also distributed last week.

Central Technical Updates

Update on Recording and Streaming in Classrooms

The Office of the Provost & Vice-President Academic has provided an update from the Learning Spaces team on recording and live streaming support to be offered in General Teaching Spaces. To find out more, please click here.

iClicker Classic and Physical Remotes — End of Support 

With the ongoing central support and funding for iClicker Cloud and iClicker Student, UBC is no longer offering central support for iClicker Classic. Unless specifically requested for a course, the remotes will no longer be available for purchase from UBC Bookstores. To find out more on how to use iCloud Cloud, please click here.
