Faculty Tip-Sheets & Surveys

Forestry Survey Reminder

This study is conducted for research purposes, to improve the teaching and learning experience in the Faculty of Forestry. This comprehensive and completely voluntary survey asks questions about your online, hybrid, and in-person teaching experiences. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with valuable feedback and helping us make the Faculty of Forestry and UBC a great place. The survey is available here.

Live Streaming Tip-Sheets

The TLS Team has completed tip-sheets for using the AV systems in FSC 1001/1003/1005/1221 and other general classrooms, in the Forest Sciences Centre and CAWP.

Grading Schemes in Canvas

The TLS team has completed a tip-sheet on Canvas Grading Schemes. The default Canvas grading scheme has a different percentage associated with letter grades than UBC’s scheme. Thus, it is recommended to change the grading scheme to avoid confusion for students.
