The SoTL Seed Program is now accepting proposals. The UBC Institute for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (ISoTL) and the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) have partnered to back Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) initiatives

The SoTL Dissemination Fund supports the publication of research on teaching and learning in higher education with direct implication for UBC. It is available to instructors from both campuses and may be used for expenses related to presenting or publishing SoTL work.

Congratulations to Melike Karaca Bulut for winning the Killam Graduate Teaching Assistant Award. This UBC-wide award recognizes an exceptional group of ~20 teaching assistants each year.
Concurrently, and owing to the critical importance of TAs to enhancing the learning environment in the Faculty of Forestry, Melike also receives the prestigious Jordan L. Burke Memorial Award in Forestry for Best TA in Forestry.
Rosalia Jaffray is the runner-up for the Jordan L. Burke Memorial Award in Forestry and receives second place for this award.
Thank you to the adjudication committee for their thorough work, and all the nominators for taking the time to put forward such an exceptional group of graduate teaching assistants.
