Supporting Muslim UBC Students during Ramadan

Many Muslim students have already begun observing Ramadan, a holy time for intention-setting, fasting, reflection, and community connection.

Like previous years, a UBC website has been updated to share events and opportunities for Muslim students. A student guide to accommodations during Ramadan has been published this month.

Supporting all students with spiritual commitments is integral to their experience at UBC. For more information, see this overarching student guide to religious and spiritual accommodations . See also the 2025 Course Instructor guides for religious/spiritual accommodations and Ramadan .
