For receiving the alumni UBC Achievement Award: Faculty Community Service Award. This award recognizes a professor who has rendered significant community service in areas other than teaching and research.

TA Hour Allocation Form

All TAs and instructors must complete the Schedule E form at the start of the term. This form breaks down how the TA’s hours will be allocated across tasks like teaching, grading, meetings, finals support, and more. Filling the form out ensures both the TA and instructor are aligned and protected.

Using External Learning Technologies in Teaching

A friendly reminder that external learning technologies need to pass UBC’s Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) before implementation in teaching. If you need to use an external learning technology for your courses, feel free to contact the TLS team (forestry.tls@ubc.ca) for support and consultation.

Turnitin “New” Interface

A new upgrade has made changes to all Turnitin assignments, and lost the ability to access Turnitin Gradebook and PeerMark, among other features. Instructors have the choice between the classic and new interface for Turnitin assignments. Please contact LT.Hub@ubc.ca for any questions or changing the default settings.
